An honour and pleasure to discuss one of the most challenging issues of our time, traffic congestion and the resulting pollution and carbon emissions, with Alfredo Escriba Gallego of Kapsch TrafficCom AG in their first ever #KapschTechTalk.
Road traffic congestion is one of the largest and fastest growing sources of carbon emissions, yet we already have the active traffic management technology which can significantly cut congestion, pollution and emissions and improve the urban environment for living, working, leisure, road safety, and active travel modes.
As we approach #COP26, just 100 days to go, we must ensure the rapid deployment of active traffic management in urban areas is high on the agenda.
