1. Waiting is not a plan. Invest in lower carbon fuels and vessels or face huge EU penalties from next year. Huge Opportunities for First Movers & Innovators
2. Integrate the European maritime ecosystem and fuel supply chain into the NZIA.
3. The €2 Billion set aside in the Innovation Fund for maritime decarbonisation is a great start, but more funding, greater transparency and bid simplification is needed, particulary for SMEs.
4. It’s not too late to share knowledge and know-how to shape the future. The details are still being written by the EU.
